Features

In Japan, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information has been amended, which will change various aspects, such as policies regarding the use of data and the responsibilities owed by business operators.
In addition, as businesses expand overseas, we must now be aware of the GDPR in the EU, CCPA (CPRA) in California, and other foreign countries’ personal information protection laws and regulations.
In response to the rapid change in regulations on data utilization and technologies, GVA LPC has released a service package called, “Data Business Support Package” to support operators for their data usage.

【Details of Service】

1. Simple check

We offer a free one-hour consultation and a simple risk check for one target service provided by your company.

2. PDDD

We perform a comprehensive check of NDAs, contracts, and privacy policies to identify risks related to the handling of data and personal information, then provide a consulting report.

3. Consultation

We provide consulting services in line with the business and the scale of the company; consideration of the usage of collected data and information, and scheme of safe data collection that can be used for business purposes.

4. Research on laws and regulations in overseas

In addition to the GDPR and the CCPA (CPRA), we also conduct research on laws and regulations on the handling of personal data has been enacted and amended in various countries and regions. We conduct research on those laws and regulations that are necessary for international data transfers.

5. Establishment of information security system

We provide support for establishing a security system, including the establishment and revising corporate regulations on information security and audits of their implementation.

6. Employee training

We give tutorials on matters related to laws and regulation targeted to people in your company (for executive teams, management or new employee).
