2022年5月に行われたフィリピン大統領選挙に関し、GVA Professional Groupのフィリピン拠点、GVA TNY Consulting Philippines, Inc.（フィリピン・マニラ 代表取締役・日本法弁護士 金子知史）・DLC LAW OFFICE所属のVann dela Cruz（ヴァン デラクルス）弁護士（フィリピン法）が、フィリピン選挙委員会（COMELEC）の公認市民組織Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting（PPCRV）の法務部長及びオフィシャルスポークスパーソンに就任しました。
Vann dela Cruz 弁護士は、同組織のオフィシャルスポークスマンとして、選挙の最新情報を主要報道機関等に伝え、報道声明を通じて投票に関する事柄を明らかにしております。また、同組織の法務部長として、選挙に関し生じる法的問題にも言及しております。
PPCRVはCOMELECの市民部門として、選挙前の有権者教育を実施し、選挙当日は投票に関する監視を行い、選挙結果の監査を担当する団体です。

For the May 2022 National and Local Philippine elections, Atty. Vann dela Cruz of DLC Law Office and GVA TNY Consulting Philippines, Inc., partner firms in the Philippines of the GVA Professional Group, acted as the spokesperson of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), the accredited citizen’s arm of the country’s Commission on Elections (COMELEC). As the organization’s official spokesperson, Atty. dela Cruz communicated information and election updates from PPCRV to the media, attended interviews by major broadcasting institutions in the country, and helped clarify poll matters through various press statements. Acting as its Director of Legal Affairs as well, he helped shed light on some legal issues related to the elections.
PPCRV, as the accredited citizen’s arm of the COMELEC, facilitated various voter’s education campaigns prior to the election day; served as poll watchers in voting precincts during election day; and audited and reviewed the data from the election returns.
