Could you please tell us about yourself ?

I am Sakane, Director of English Lessons Division of DMM.com LLC operating on-line English lessons called “DMM.Eikaiwa” and our global brand “Engoo”.
I have been with the company since the establishment of DMM.Eikaiwa. I was in charge of almost everything that is apt to occur in startups, including management planning and financing. With my colleagues from Japan, the Philippines, and the Eastern Europe, I strived for the creation of a business foundation having English teachers from more than 120 countries.

Reasons for retaining a legal advisor

We have a subsidiary in the Philippines called “Bibo Global Opportunity, Inc”, responsible for hiring of English teachers and the operations that are necessary for providing our English lesson service.
Recently, there has been an increase in cases requiring comprehensive understanding and handling of information security and Personal Information Protection Act in countries, including Japan where our clients are based and the Phillippines where our English teachers are based.
